Nature Photography Day (June 15th in 2025) is dedicated to celebrating and appreciating the beauty of nature through photography. In honor of the day, I present these recent photos from our orchard. They suggest a story called something like “The Orchard That Sustained a Valley,” in which the many of birds, deer, coyotes, insects, horses, people, and others that thrived on the fruits of an old orchard are revealed.
